During the fifth inning of Wednesday night’s game between the Atlanta Braves and the Toronto Blue Jays, Freddie Freeman’s left wrist was hit by a pitch.

Freeman left the game to undergo an X-ray in the clubhouse, but results were inconclusive. The Braves await MRI results and a few other tests on Thursday to determine the extent of Freeman’s injury.

Freeman leads the National League with 14 homeruns.

The Braves won Wednesday’s game 8-4 and will play the final game in the home series against the Blue Jays on Thursday night at 7:35 p.m.
