NL East standings First place: Braves -- 30-21 Second place: Phillies -- 29-21, 1/2 game back Third place: Nationals -- 29-22, 1 game back Fourth place: Mets -- 25-24, 4 games back Fifth place: Marlins -- 19-33, 11 1/2 games back

The Atlanta Braves fell in ESPN’s Week 8 MLB Power Rankings.

The Braves were previously ranked fourth on the power rankings, however after losing a series to both the Red Sox and Phillies, the Braves fell to the fifth spot.

The Braves are 30-21 and sit in first in the NL East. The Braves host the Mets in a make-up doubleheader Monday.

Here are the top 10 in ESPN's Week 8 MLB Power Rankings:

1. Houston Astros

2. Boston Red Sox

3. New York Yankees

4. Chicago Cubs

5. Atlanta Braves

6. Milwaukee Brewers

7. Washington Nationals

8. Philadelphia Phillies

9. Los Angeles Angels

10. Seattle Mariners
