Thomas has parting words for Hawks' Schroder
The Hawks' Dennis Schroder and the Celtics' Isaiah Thomas had a rivalry during the first round of the NBA playoffs.
There is no love-loss between the Hawks' Dennis Schroder and the Celtics' Isaiah Thomas.
The two were involved in an incident during Game 3 of their first-round playoff series. Replays showed Thomas hitting Schroder in the head as his ran up court after making a basket.
Though feeling "disrespected," Schroder kept his emotions in check on the floor, helping the Hawks eliminate the Celtics and advance in the NBA playoffs. The Hawks will meet the Cavaliers in the second round.
Near the end of Thursday's game. The Hawks broadcast caught Thomas sending Schroder a message.
If you didn't catch that, Thomas told Schroder, “We’ll meet you in the back.”
