Hawks rookies Edy Tavares and Lamar Patterson had strong debuts in the NBA Development League Friday night.

The two started for the Austin Spurs in a 106-81 win over the Texas Legends.

Tavares had 14 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks in 30 minutes. The center was 5 of 7 from the field and 4 of 6 from the free-throw line. He ended with a plus-25 rating.

Patterson had 11 points, nine rebounds, five assists and two steals. The guard/forward was 4 of 8 from the field, including 1 of 4 from 3-point range, and 2 of 2 from the free-throw line. He ended with a plus-15 rating.

The two will be in action again Saturday night at Austin travels to play at the Oklahoma City Blue at 8 p.m. (ET).
