The College Park Skyhawks’ home opener tips off 7 p.m. Thursday at the Gateway Center Arena, and if you’re following along, you’ll likely hear some familiar voices.

Steve Holman, the voice of the Hawks, and Carl Dukes of 92.9 FM The Game will be providing calls and analysis as the Skyhawks, the Hawks’ G League affiliate, host the Delaware Blue Coats (the game will be broadcast on Peachtree TV).

For the Skyhawks’ 24 home games this season (all broadcast on Peachtree TV), Dukes (of the Dukes & Bell show) will be part of a rotating broadcast team that includes Matt Stewart (the lead play-by-play voice for Georgia Public Broadcasting who has called more than 600 games on ESPN stations), Atlanta Dream guard Renee Montgomery (who won WNBA titles with the Lynx in 2015 and 2017 and a national championship with Connecticut in 2009) and Jon Babul (the Hawks’ vice president of basketball development who played at Georgia Tech and has been an analyst for Georgia Tech men’s basketball since 2010).

Holman will be on the call only for the opener.

The Skyhawks enter their home opener with a 2-2 record.
