Thabo Sefolosha returned to the Hawks’ starting lineup for Saturday’s game at the Spurs. Sefolosha was inactive for the first game of a back-to-back when the Hawks played at the Grizzlies Friday and Kent Bazemore returned from a five-game absence due to a right ankle sprain.

Sefolosha had started the previous two games at small forward before Bazemore’s return.

“For Baze to play a back-to-back and to make sure we are thinking big picture,” Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer said of starting Sefolosha. “I think it’s great to have both Thabo and Baze tonight and have that full force on the wing. Hopefully, we’ll be able to manage both their minutes and how we play.”

The Spurs have Kawhi Leonard on the wing and the Hawks will use of combination of Sefolosha and Bazemore contain San Antonio’s leading scorer. Leonard is averaging 22.0 points and 7.8 rebounds per game.

Bazemore played 26 minutes against the Grizzlies and finished with 14 points, three rebounds and two assists.

Tiago Splitter (sore right hip) and Edy Tavares will be inactive.
