Thabo Sefolosha is combining his love of fashion and business by opening a retail clothing outlet in Atlanta.

The grand opening of Attom, located at The Shops at Buckhead on Peachtree Road, is Friday night.

Sefolosha has a partner with owns two stores in his native Switzerland. They joined forces to open a store in the United States and Atlanta made a lot of sense to both partners. Such a location allows Sefolosha to be near the store.

“I really love the market. I really like what we are doing. I’ve always been into fashion. It made sense for me and him.”

Sefolosha is more than a silent partner. He said went to a fashion show in Paris to help pick out the clothing line, which are mostly European brands. There have also been trips to Milan.

“It’s fun,” Sefolosha said. “The clothes we have are a reflection of me and him. Classy pieces at the same time its fashion forward and very cool pieces. Everybody can find something in the store they would like.”

Sefolosha said he has always been interested in business and is already making plans for his post-basketball career. He’d like to open barbershops in Switzerland with barbers from the United States.
