Hawks forward Paul Millsap is leaving for Denver after four seasons in Atlanta.

Millsap agreed to a three-year, $90 million contract with the Nuggets as an unrestricted free agent late Sunday.

The deal came after a hours long meeting in Atlanta between the four-time All-Star and Nuggets president Josh Kroenke, president of basketball operations Tim Connelly and general manager Arturas Karnisovas.

Also part of the negotiations, according to the Denver Post, were Nuggets guard Gary Harris and Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall.

The Post reports that Marshall talked highly about the city and what it was like to win in Denver. Marshall was a member of the Broncos team that won the Super Bowl in 2016.

Millsap was the last remaining starter from the Hawks' 60-win Eastern Conference final team from 2014-15.

Millsap's departure leaves the Hawks with eight players under contract next season.

Hawks recently signed top pick John Collins (19th overall) to a rookie deal.
