The Hawks traded their All-Star point guard to Indiana after the season.

Former Hawks All-Star Jeff Teague is now wearing an Indiana Pacers uniform after an offseason trade. Check out how he looks.

The Hawks traded Jeff Teague to the Indiana Pacers as part of a three-way deal that included the Jazz. Atlanta acquired a first-round draft pick.

Jeff Teague averaged 13 points per game in his first preseason with the Indiana Pacers.

Teague (left) shot 43.8 percent from the field, 33.3 percent from 3-point range and 69.6 percent from the foul line in the preseason.

Teague is a more natural point guard than his Pacers predecessor (George Hill). Teague also is quicker and better at getting to the basket than Hill.

With the additions of Teague, power forward Thaddeus Young and center Al Jefferson to go with three-time All-Star Paul George and second-year center Myles Turner, the future looks bright for the Pacers.

Teague averaged 15.7 points and 5.9 assists last season. For his career, Teague averaged 12.1 points and 5.2 assists in 26.1 minutes over 518 regular-season games. He also appeared in 62 playoff games, including 51 starts, and averaged 13.3 points and 4.7 assists

Teague was the second-longest tenured Hawks player, behind only Al Horford, after completing his seventh season. Teague's contract expires at the end of the season.

Teague (right) wanted to leave the Hawks in 2013 when he signed a four-year, $32 million offer sheet with the Bucks. However, the Hawks matched the offer.

Teague is from Indiana and played at Pike High School in Indianapolis.

The Pacers open the season Wednesday against the Mavs.
