The Hawks signed swingman Damion Lee to a 10-day contract on Tuesday morning. Chances are Lee will make his NBA debut against the Thunder Tuesday night because the Hawks are so thin at the wing positions.

“I’m ready for it,” Lee said. “I feel like I’ve worked very hard to get to this position and just go out there and treat it like it’s another game.”

Lee was playing for Santa Cruz of the G League when he got the call from the Hawks. He’s played 54 games in the G League over the past two seasons.

“I think one of my main strengths is high I.Q.,” Lee said. “I play the game the right way. I’m a team guy, and also can shoot the basketball, play hard. I just want to come in and continue to show those attributes and show those things I can do that have gotten me here.”

Lee, 25, wasn’t selected in the 2016 NBA draft out of Louisville (he played for the Cardinals as a graduate transfer after four years at Drexel). He’s averaged 16.4 points per game in the G League with 46 percent shooting, including 36.1 percent on 3-pointers.

Before signing Lee, the Hawks were down to three healthy wing players: Taurean Prince, Tyler Dorsey and Andre White III.

Kent Bazemore suffered a season-ending knee injury on Sunday. Jaylen Morris went down with an ankle injury in the same game that will sideline him for at least two weeks. DeAndre’ Bembry (groin) hasn’t played since Feb. 23 and Antonius Cleveland still is rehabilitating an ankle injury he suffered while playing for the Mavericks in December.
