The Hawks will be without Paul Millsap for at least two more games as their leading scorer will not play against the Pistons Friday and the Raptors on Saturday.

Millsap has a sore left hip that also cost him Wednesday’s game against the Suns.

“I would definitely say not worse but not good enough to play,” Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer said before Friday’s game.

Millsap suffered the injury in a fall against the Jazz last week. He played games against the Lakers and Warriors before succumbing to the injury.

Thabo Sefolosha got the start at power forward in place of Millsap. Mike Muscala got the assignment against the Suns. Millsap will not travel with the Hawks for Saturday’s game at the Raptors.

Millsap was unavailable prior to the game.
