Bruno Fernando

Forward

6-foot-10, 240 pounds

College: Maryland

Why Hawks fans may enjoy this pick: Fernando is an athletic big man who knows how to finish at the rim. Be on the lookout for him to be an alley-oop target, especially on fast breaks. He's not afraid of contact and is an above-average free-throw shooter for his position. He'll also be a factor in pick-and-roll situations.

Why Hawks fans may not enjoy this pick: He'll need to work on his passing, and be able to recognize when to take the ball to the rim himself and when he's being double-teamed and give it up. He's a respectable defender, but needs to work on becoming a better shot blocker and rim protector for the position he plays.
