Hawks assistant Taylor Jenkins will coach the team’s entry in the Las Vegas Summer League next month.

Jenkins just completed his third season with Hawks. He previously was head coach of the Austin Toros of the NBA Development League.

The Hawks will take part in the summer league which runs July 8-18 on the campus of the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. Lamar Patterson and Edy Tavares along with first-round draft picks Taurean Prince and DeAndre’ Bembry and signee Matt Costello will play for the Hawks. Second-round pick Isaia Cordinier could also be a part of the Hawks entry.

The Hawks have scheduled games with the Rockets, Wizards and Nets before the tournament portion of the event begins.
