* Karl-Anthony Towns had 17 points and 18 rebounds for the Timberwolves.

* Dennis Schroder had his 14th straight game in double-figure scoring with 21 points. He also had seven assists

* Paul Millsap had 18 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists.

Key stat

Without Dwight Howard, the Hawks were outrebounded 52-35, including 15-8 on the offensive glass.

Noteworthy

* Kent Bazemore and Kyle Korver each had four blocks. It was a career-high for Bazemore and a career-high tying for Korver. All Korver’s blocks came in the second quarter.

* Malcolm Delaney played just 5:44, all in the first half.

* The Timberwolves played just eight players. Four of the starters played at least 37 minutes.

* Mike Muscala scored 11 of the Hawks’ first 13 points in the third quarter after he started the second half.

* Millsap provided a highlight-worthy dunk in the second quarter as he blew past Towns and threw down over Nemanja Bjelica.
