* Dennis Schroder scored a game-high 27 points and was 5 of 5 from the free-throw line in the final two minutes. He also had six rebounds, five assists and only three turnovers.

* Thabo Sefolosha boxed out Nuggets big man Nikola Jokic and drew a loose-ball foul on the rebound with 42.8 seconds remaining. He made the two free throws. Jokic fouled out.

Without Dwight Howard, the Hawks were only outrebounded 44-41 by the NBA leader in the category.
