Dwight Howard turned to social media to thank those who helped during an illness that required brief hospitalization.

Howard fell ill on a plane flight from China to Atlanta Sunday night. The Hawks center went to a local hospital and was treated for dehydration. He was released early Monday morning.

Here is what Howard posted on Twitter Tuesday night: “I just wanna say I truly appreciate everyone who reached out to check on me thank you. To the flight attendants and doctors thank u.” He concluded the post with an emoji of praying hands.

The Hawks planned a medical review of the incident but has not issued a statement on Howard’s condition.
