The Hawks win over the Warriors last Friday drew the highest-rating game ever – regular or postseason – on SportSouth, the network announced Monday.

The game did a 6.8 rating in the Atlanta market.

The game was also the highest-rated primetime program on any network in the Atlanta market on Friday night between 8-11 p.m. The broadcast peaked with a 9.3 rating between 9:45-10 p.m.

The previously highest rated Hawks game came during last season’s playoffs when Game 6 against the Pacers generated a 4.8 rating.
