Heading into NBA trade season, the Hawks announced Saturday they have waived guard Ty Wallace, freeing up a roster spot.

The Hawks had claimed Wallace off waivers Oct. 23 but he struggled to get consistent playing time, averaging 2.9 points and 1.6 rebounds in 11.5 minutes, appearing in 14 games.
