The Bucks made the signing of unrestricted free agent center Zaza Pachulia official Wednesday, ending the fan favorite’s eight year tenure iwth the Hawks. Pachulia agreed to terms earlier this month.

The Hawks also lost forward Josh Smith to the Pistons after he spent nine seasons with this hometown team.

With both signings official, general manager Danny Ferry released the following statement on the long-time Hawks. “We greatly appreciate and thank Josh and Zaza for all their contributions to the Atlanta Hawks franchise during their time with the team. We appreciate their impact in the community and on the court as well. We wish both of them and their families the best.”
