How the game was won: The Hawks trailed only once, 2-0, as they dismantled the Suns for their franchise record 58th regular-season victory. The Hawks would lead by as many as 31 points in the fourth quarter. Mike Muscala, DeMarre Carroll and Jeff Teague paced the well-balanced Hawks with 16 points each.

Turning point: The Hawks went on a 15-2 run early in the third quarter to re-establish a double-digit lead after the Suns closed to within five points. The Hawks limited the Suns to 13 third-quarter points before piling on in the final period.

Number: 7. Technical fouls assessed. The Hawks' Mike Budenholzer, Pero Antic, Mike Scott and Carroll and the Suns' Markieff Morris and Eric Bledsoe (2) were all penalized.
