The Hawks signed Jordan Sibert to a 10-day contract. The guard has been playing for the Erie BayHawks, the team’s G League affiliate.

Sibert, 6-foot-4, 187 pounds, played for the University of Dayton team that reached the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament in 2014 after wins over Ohio State, Syracuse and Stanford. He has also played professionally with the Magic and overseas in Greece and Germany.

Sibert, 26, has appeared in 34 games for Erie this season, including 26 starts. He averaged 15.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.4 steals in 31.5 minutes.

The Hawks needed to sign a player to bring their roster to 14 after two NBA trade deadline deals earlier this month.

The Hawks return from the All-Star break on Friday with a home game against the Pistons.
