Hawks rookies Lamar Patterson and Edy Tavares will play for the Austin Spurs in the NBA Development League playoffs, which begin this week against the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.

The Spurs enter as the No. 2 seed and the Vipers enter as the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference. The best-of-three series begins Tuesday.

The schedule is as follows:

Tuesday: Spurs at Vipers, 8 p.m.

Thursday: Vipers at Spurs, 8:30 p.m.

Saturday: Vipers at Spurs, 1 p.m. (if necessary)

The winner of the series will take on the winner of No. 1 Reno Bighorns versus No. 4 Los Angeles D-Fenders in the conference finals.
