The Hawks recalled forward Tyler Cavanaugh from the team’s G League affiliate in Erie (Pa.) on Monday.

Cavanaugh has been on a rehabilitation stint after suffering an ankle injury that has kept him out since Jan. 17. He was assigned to Erie on Feb. 28.

In 30 games with the Hawks, Cavanaugh averaged 5.0 points, 3.3 rebounds and 13.8 minutes. In 11 games with Erie, including five starts, he averaged 14.5 points, 7.3 rebounds and 23.5 minutes.

The Hawks have been hit by several injuries of late, including losing Kent Bazemore and Jaylen Morris during Sunday’s game against the Bulls. Point guards Dennis Schroder and Malcolm Delaney and wing DeAndre Bembry missed the game due to injuries.

The Hawks host the Thunder on Tuesday.
