Hawks to play Cavaliers in preseason

The Hawks will play the Eastern Conference champion Cavaliers in an exhibition game this year.

The Hawks have not released their exhibition schedule, but the Cavaliers released a list of their preseason games Thursday. They will host the Hawks at 7 p.m. Oct. 4 at Quicken Loans Arena.

The Hawks will play five exhibition games in the NBA’s abbreviated preseason. Three games are now known based on the release of opponent schedules.

Oct. 1 at Heat, 6 p.m.

Oct. 4 at Cavaliers, 7 p.m.

Oct. 9 vs. Grizzlies, 7:30 p.m.
