How the game was won: Al Horford – the lone starter left standing – scored 21 points to secure the win as Jeff Teague, DeMarre Carroll and Paul Millsap rested and Kyle Korver left with a broken nose. Dennis Schroder added a game- and career-high 24 points, including a key layup with 13.9 seconds left that gave the Hawks a four-point lead. He also had 10 assists.

Turning point: Shelvin Mack came off the bench and scored 10 first-half points, including back-to-back 3-pointers, as the Hawks built a 15-point lead. Mack finished with 18 points. He started the second half after Korver left the game.

Number: 43-3. Hawks record this season when they lead by 10 or more points at any point during a game. The Hawks led by 10 points with 3:29 left in the first quarter.

Next: The Hawks continue their four-game road trip in Sacramento Monday night.
