Dewayne Dedmon scored the Atlanta Hawks’ first points of Monday’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers with a steal and a dunk.

With 9:45 left in the first quarter, Lakers’ Kentavious Caldwell-Pope threw a bad pass which was tipped away by Dedmon. Kent Bazemore grabbed the ball and dribbled down the floor before tossing it to Dedmon who was in the paint under the Lakers’ basket, ready to dunk.

Dedmon finished Monday’s game with seven points, seven rebounds, three assists and one steal.

After Monday’s 123-104 loss to the Lakers, the Hawks will attempt to snap their four-game losing streak Wednesday at Philips Arena against the Indiana Pacers.
