The Hawks fell into the loser’s bracket of the Las Vegas Summer League with a 71-60 loss to the Wizards on Thursday.

The Hawks (4-2) were outscored 26-12 in the final quarter in the defeat.

The Hawks had three double-digit scorers with Brandon Ashley (12), Bryce Cotton (11) and Taurean Prince (10). Edy Tavares had eight points, seven rebounds and five blocks and DeAndre’ Bembry had nine points, six rebounds and four assists. The Hawks were without guard Kevin Pangos, who is finalizing a deal to play in Europe.

The Wizards (3-1) were led by Kelly Oubre Jr. with a game-high 22 points.

The Hawks will play the loser of Thursday’s Timberwolves-Grizzlies game on Friday at 8 p.m. (ET).
