The Hawks lost two of their wing players to injury in the second quarter against the Bulls on Sunday.

Starting guard Kent Bazemore landed awkwardly from a jump and immediately limped off the floor to the locker room with the ball still in play. The Hawks said he suffered a right knee sprain and would not return to the game.

Minutes earlier rookie forward Jaylen Morris left the game for good because of what the team said was a left ankle injury. Morris appeared to twist his ankle when he landed on a foot of Bulls forward Denzel Valentine.

After the game Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer said he had no update on Bazemore or Morris.

Bazemore has started 64 of 64 games played this season and entering today was second on the team in scoring (13.0 points per game) and first in steals (1.6). The Hawks signed Morris to a second 10-day contract before the game.
