Hawks assign Bembry to D-League for one-game stint

The Hawks will assign DeAndre Bembry to the NBA Development League for a third time this season.

The rookie will again play for the Salt Lake City Stars, via the flexible assignment rule, on Thursday in what is expected to be a one-game stint.

The Stars host the Texas Legends at 9 p.m. (ET).

Bembry has previously played two games with the Stars and averaged 27.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.0 steals in 35.7 minutes.
