How the game was won: The Hawks held off a Kings' fourth-quarter rally with key 3-pointers from DeMarre Carroll (2) and Kent Bazemore and four free-throws by Jeff Teague in the final 16 seconds. Teague finished with a game-high 23 points and Paul Millsap had a double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds. The Hawks set a franchise record with their 23rd road victory.

Turning point: With the Hawks holding a 100-99, Bazemore hit a corner 3-pointer with 1:06 remaining. Bazemore, starting for the injured Kyle Korver was 1 of 7 from the field before the shot.

Number: 20. Number of Kings' turnovers forced by the Hawks, who had 11 steals. The Kings had eight third-quarter turnovers as the Hawks were able to build a double-digit lead.

Next: The Hawks continue their six-game road trip in a much-anticipated rematch with the Warriors Wednesday night.
