How the game was won: The Hawks remaining starters DeMarre Carroll (22), Jeff Teague (22) and Paul Millsap (18) combined for 62 points as the Hawks pulled away from the Celtics over the final three quarters. The Hawks won for the 10th time overall and on the road and for the 24th time in the past 26 games.

Turning point: The Hawks used runs of 12-0 and 9-2 in the second quarter to build a double-digit lead and cruised after leading by 12 points at the half.

Number: 2. The number of Hawks starters – Al Horford and Kyle Korver – that did not play for rest. The two sat one day after the Hawks sat three starters –Teague, Carroll and Millsap – in a win over the 76ers.

Next: The Hawks continue their four-game road trip in Toronto Friday night.
