Tim Hardaway Jr. will be a game-time decision for Game 1 of the Hawks-Celtics first-round playoff series Saturday night.

The Hawks’ reserve shooting guard suffered a right groin strain in the regular-season finale at Washington on Wednesday. He did not practice in the live portion of practice on Friday. According to Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer, Hardaway went through more of morning shootaround Saturday.

Budenholzer said Hardaway would warm up before Saturday’s game before a decision is made on his status. The Hawks don’t have to make Hardaway inactive if he can’t play since Tiago Splitter and Edy Tavares are already on the list. Hardaway will dress but still may not be able to play.

Prior to the game, the Hawks said Hardaway is “available to play.”
