Ex-UGA star Frazier to work out for Hawks ahead of NBA Draft

Georgia point guard J.J. Frazier was one of six players to work out for the Hawks on Monday ahead of the NBA Draft.

Frazier, the 5-foot-10, 155-pound senior, averaged 19.2 points, 4.1 assists and 3.8 rebounds for Georgia this season.

The Hawks hosted five other players, including four ranked in the Top 100 prospects by Draft Express.

SMU’s Semi Ojeleye is ranked No. 28 by Draft Express. The 6-7, 235 pound junior forward averaged 19.0 points and 6.9 rebounds last season.

Oregon’s Jordan Bell is ranked No. 32 by Draft Express. The 6-9, 223-pound junior power forward averaged 11.0 points and 8.7 rebounds last season.

BYU’s Jon Motley is ranked No. 39 by Draft Express. The 6-9, 230 pound junior power forward/center averaged 17.2 points and 9.9 rebounds last season.

Damyean Dotson is ranked No. 64 by Draft Express. The 6-5, 202 pound senior shooting guard averaged 17.4 points and 6.9 rebounds last season.

Virginia’s London Perentes also worked out for the Hawks. The 6-2, 197 pound senior guard averaged 12.7 points, 3.8 assists and 3.0 rebounds last season.

In addition, Clemson’s Jaron Blossomgame will also work out for the Hawks in the near future. Blossomgame, the 6-7, 217 senior forward, worked out for the 76ers on Monday and said the Hawks were on his list of future pre-draft sessions. He is scheduled to work out for the Hornets Tuesday. Blossomgame averaged 19.7 points and 6.3 rebounds last season. He is ranked No. 49 by Draft Express. Blossomgame is from Georgia and attended Chattahoochee High.

The Hawks have three selections in the draft on June 22 with picks Nos. 19, 31 and 60.
