Voting for the 2020 NBA All-Star game began Wednesday, just before the start of the five Christmas Day games.

NBA players and select media will join fans in selecting All-Star game starters. Fans will account for 50 percent of the vote while all current players and a media panel will account for 25 percent each.

Throughout the voting period, which ends at 11:50 p.m. Jan. 20, fans may submit one full ballot per day. Fan voting will be done by searching on Google, Google Assistant, NBA app and NBA.com. There will be five 2-for-1 days that allow fan votes to count twice on Jan. 2, 3, 10, 16 and 20.

Fan voting updates will be shared Jan. 2, 9 and 16. TNT will reveal the starters, including the two team captains, Jan. 23. The network will also announce the reserves, as selected by NBA head coaches, Jan. 30.

Team rosters will be drafted by the two captains, the starter from each conference who received the most fan votes. They will choose from the pool of players voted as starters and reserves in each conference, making their selections regardless of conference affiliation. Details about the draft will be announced at a later date.
