Five things we learned about the Hawks Thursday:

1. Dwight Howard will miss his third straight game with back tightness as the starting center did not make the trip to Denver for Friday's game against the Nuggets.

2. Tim Hardaway Jr. is listed as questionable on the injury report with a right groin injury suffered in Wednesday's loss to the Timberwolves. He made the trip to Denver.

3. The Hawks made an early trip to Colorado and practiced there Thursday. Typically, the team practices in Atlanta before a flight to a road game.

4. The Hawks have lost three straight home games to team's with a combined record of 32-47 at the time of the contest.

5. Paul Millsap is averaging 20.9 points over the past eight games with a .539 shooting percentage. He has scored more than 20 points four times and 30 point once.
