Now, Marco Belinelli’s run in the EuroBasket 2017 tournament is over.

The new Hawks guard scored a team-high 18 points, despite a poor shooting performance, in Italy’s 83-67 loss to Serbia in the quarterfinals on Wednesday in Istanbul. The loss came a day after Dennis Schroder and Germany were eliminated. No more Hawks players remain in the international tournament.

Belinelli was 5 of 17 from the floor, including 2 of 11 from 3-point range. Belinelli averaged 17.9 points in seven games.

Serbia moves on to face Russia in the semifinals. The other semifinal will be Spain versus Slovenia. The finals will be Sunday.

Belinelli is now free to join the Hawks for training camp, which begins Sept. 25 with media day.
