Atlanta Hawks games to be televised on rebranded FOX Sports Southeast

Hawks games will be televised by the rebranded network FOX Sports Southeast, the network announced Monday.

The network was previously known as SportSouth. The change will take effect on Oct. 5. FOX Sports Southeast will be noted as FSSE on television channel guides and all channel numbers will remain the same.

The regional network of FOX Sports televising the Hawks, Braves and Dream in Atlanta. They also locally televise baseball’s Reds and Cardinals and basketball’s Hornets, Grizzlies and Pelicans.

“FOX Sports is a universally recognized brand with clearly defined attributes of a dynamic attitude and excellence in sports production,” senior vice president and general manager Jeff Genthner said in a statement. “Changing SportSouth to FOX Sports Southeast better aligns our regional sports network with the FOX Sports brand, and ensures that all of the regional networks serving the Southeast – FOX Sports South, FOX Sports Carolinas, FOX Sports Tennessee and now FOX Sports Southeast – share in that dynamic brand strength and recognition.”
