Sure it’s summer. However, that doesn’t mean there hasn’t been Hawks news today.

Here is a recap of what I posted today - Aug. 17, 2015. One-stop shopping, if you will. It’s something I will do once the season starts so the several items I posted daily do not get lost in the shuffle. Let me know if you like the idea.

1. The Hawks announced their preseason schedule

2. Mike Muscala and Charles Lee honored by Patriot League

3. Trial date set for Mike Budenholzer

4. Dikembe Mutombo Day announced

5. Thabo Sefolosha gettting up some shots. (That's him in the left background of the video the Hawks posted of professional golfer Billy Horschel's appearance in Atlanta Monday.

6. The Hawks signing of Jason Richardson to a non-guaranteed contract did not happen Monday as expected. It will likely get done in the next several days.

I have a couple stories planned for tomorrow so check back on ajc.com.
