Glenn Robinson III was added to the Hawks’ entry in the Las Vegas Summer League on Thursday.

Robinson, the 6-foot-7 small forward, played last season for the Timberwolves and 76ers. He was not extended a qualifying offer by the 76ers on July 1 and became an unrestricted free agent. In 35 NBA games, Robinson averaged 2.1 points and 1.1 rebounds in 7.5 minutes.

Robinson was due to arrive in Las Vegas Thursday. It is unclear if he will play in the Hawks’ opening game Friday.

Robinson was a second-round pick of the Timberwolves (No. 40 overall) last year by the Timberwolves out of the University of Michigan. He was waived by the Timberwolves on March 5 after appearing in 25 games. Two days later, he was claimed by the 76ers.

Robinson is the son of former NBA player Glenn Robinson.

The Hawks play the Nuggets at 8 p.m. Eastern Friday. All 67 games in the Las Vegas Summer League will be aired on NBA TV.
