Marietta's Nick Markakis is in his second full season with the Braves.

March 3, 2016Nick Markakis arrived in Braves camp fit, beardless and ready to play.
The 32-year-old outfielder, who grew up in Marietta, spent nine seasons with the Baltimore Orioles and is on the second year of a 4-year, $44 million deal he signed to join the Braves.
The Braves have a loaded outfield and are said to be attempting to deal players so it's no surprise Markakis' name is making the rumormill as a candidate of a trade.
Who knew the Braves commented in Russian?
Markakis was on of the Braves' most consistent hitters last season batting .297 with a .370 OBP, 73 runs and 53 RBIs for the lowest-scoring team in the majors.
