He was 2-for-4 in the leadoff spot in Monday's series opener as the struggling Jace Peterson got a rest day. A.J. Pierzynski went 3-for-4 Sunday against Philadelphia and followed it up with a 4-for-5 game Monday in Milwaukee for his second four-hit game of the year. He had three doubles over that span. Kelly Johnson has six multi-hit games in the 24 he's played since returning from the disabled list, including two-hit three-RBI games in back-to-back starts against the Phillies and Brewers. His two-run home run in the first inning Monday opened the door for a series-opening 5-3 win at Miller Park.
