On the same night the Atlanta Braves gave up 11 runs, one of their top pitching prospects, Tyrell Jenkins, pitched six shutout innings in the Gwinnett Braves' 3-1 International League victory over host Toledo.

The Braves (11-9) ended a six-game skid with the Tuesday night win.

Jenkins (2-1) allowed five hits. He walked two and struck out three. Jenkins has a 1.71 ERA this season.

David Peterson allowed one hit in 1 1/3 innings and earned a save.

Emilio Bonifacio led the G-Braves offensively. He went 2-for-4, scored two runs, and had an RBI. Reid Brignac went 2-for-3 with an RBI.
