They haven't faced the Marlins since May 17, when Shelby Miller completed a three-game sweep in Miami by taking a no-hitter through 26 outs. A.J. Pierzynski and Nick Markakis, two of the Braves' hottest bats in August, have been their hottest hitters against the Marlins this season. Pierzynski is hitting .357 (5-for-14) with a double, two homers and five RBIs against them, while Markakis is hitting .345 (10-for-20) with two doubles and four RBIs against them.
