On April 21, 2002, Braves shortstop Rafael Furcal tied a major-league record by legging out three triples in a 4-2 win over the Marlins at Turner Field.

Furcal went 3-for-5 for the Braves and scored three runs.

Tom Glavine got the win for Atlanta and John Smoltz earned a save.
