From July 13 through Friday night, Braves middle-infield prospects Dansby Swanson and Ozzie Albies hit a rough stretch at the plate for Double-A Mississippi.

Over those 10 days, Albies played in nine games and Swanson played in eight, and they had a combined .222 batting average. Here are their individual batting numbers for that period:

Swanson was 7-for-31 (.226) with four runs scored and six RBIs. He struck out 11 times, walked four times and had a double and two home runs. Four of his RBIs came in the same game, a 5-0 victory July 18 at home against Jackson. He struck out at least once in seven of the eight games.

Albies was 7-for-32 (.219) with seven runs scored and three RBIs. He struck out seven times, walked once and had a triple, but no other extra-base hits.
