What's new: Freddie Freeman had struck out seven times in 14 at-bats during the Braves four-game losing streak entering Saturday, while collecting one hit (.071). He struck out only 11 times in his first 46 at-bats over the Braves' first 12 games (while hitting .283.) Setup man Jim Johnson gave up runs in each of his first four outings on this trip (one of which was unearned Friday night in Philadelphia.) On the season, right-handers were hitting .391 off the right-handed Johnson, compared with .250 from left-handers. Leadoff man Eric Young was hitting only .130 (3-for-23) with a .167 on-base percentage over his previous eight games entering Saturday.
