Dynamic Braves outfielder Ronald Acuna was named by Baseball America as the No. 1 prospect in the sport ahead of the 2018 season.

He is not the first Braves hot-shot to land atop the list of future stars. Dating back to 1990, Atlanta has fielded five No. 1 prospects, in six seasons -- more than any other team in baseball.

The top Braves prospects were:

2018: Ronald Acuna
2010: Jason Heyward
1997: Andruw Jones
1996: Andruw Jones
1993: Chipper Jones
1990: Steve Avery
