NEXT: VS. NEW YORK METS

Friday

Time, TV: 7:35 p.m., FSSO

Probable starters: Braves LH Eric Stults (8-17, 4.30 ERA in 2014) vs. LH Jonathan Niese (9-11, 3.40)

Comment: Stults, 35, beat out prospect Mike Foltynewicz and veteran left-hander Wandy Rodriguez for the fourth starter's job by posting a 1.88 ERA in six spring-training appearances. Now he gets to start the Braves' home opener.

Saturday

Time, TV: 7:10 p.m., SPSO

Probable starters: Braves RH Julio Teheran (1-0, 1.50) vs. RH Dillon Gee (7-8, 4.00 in 2014)

Comment: Teheran is looking to build on the momentum of his win on opening day at Marlins Park, when he gave up one run in six innings despite eight hits and a 16-minute rain delay in a retractable-roof stadium.

Sunday

Time, TV: 1:35 p.m., FSSO

Probable starters: Braves LH Alex Wood (1-0, 3.60) vs. RH Bartolo Colon (1-0, 1.50)

Comment: Wood, who averaged only 3.15 runs of support last year, got a seven-run cushion before taking the mound in the first inning of his win Tuesday in Miami. He could use more of that Sunday to get his first career win against the Mets. He's 0-2 in five starts against them.
