How the winning run scored: Up 2-0, the Red Wings (34-36) used three fifth-inning home runs — two solo and one with one on — en route to the 6-3 final to complete a four game sweep of the visiting Braves.

At the Plate: The Braves scored all three of their runs in the sixth when Tyler Pastornicky (4) and Joey Terdoslavich (14) opened with back-to-back solo homers. Brandon Boggs who got on with a single, scored from first on a double by Stefan Gartrell.

On the mound: All six Red Wing runs came off Braves starter Sean Gilmartin (3-7, 5.83 ERA). Reliever Juan Cedeno went 2 2/3 scoreless innings. Wirfin Obispo worked a scoreless eighth and has now worked 14.0 straight scoreless innings over his last 10 appearances.

What's next for the G-Braves: The Braves (28-43) head to Buffalo for four against the Bisons (35-33) before returning home Friday to face the Syracuse Chiefs at 7:05 p.m.
