How the winning run scored: Ronald Bermudez scored on a throwing error by Gwinnett second baseman Tyler Pastornicky with one out in the fourth inning to give Pawtucket a 2-0 lead Wednesday night in Lawrenceville.

At the plate: The G-Braves recorded seven hits, all of them singles except a double by Alden Carrithers. Joey Terdoslavich, Matt Pagnozzi and Carrithers each had two hits. Terdoslavich raised his batting average to .346 with his 14th multi-hit game in his past 23. He has a .398 average in that span.

On the mound: G-Braves starter Yohan Flande (1-3) gave up four runs on eight hits in five innings and struck out seven.

Up next for Gwinnett: The G-Braves (12-22) and Red Sox (20-13) conclude their series at 10:35 a.m. Thursday at Coolray Field. The scheduled starters are right-handers Roman Colon (0-1, 4.32 ERA) for Gwinnett against Steven Wright (1-1, 1.69). Atlanta Braves outfielder Jason Heyward will begin a rehab assignment.
